The journal is open to original papers covering a link between gross anatomy and areas related with clinical anatomy such as experimental and functional anatomy, neuroanatomy, comparative anatomy, modern imaging techniques, molecular biology, cell biology and embryology, and morphological studies of veterinary discipline. Additionally, manuscripts dealing with all forms of anatomical teaching will be considered for publication.

It is a unique platform for learning and teaching as well as an economical and structurally sound alternative to human cadaver dissection and research. The experience that Visible Body provides is similar to a lab environment. The user—the student or the teacher—can rotate the model at will, to explore anatomy at their own pace. The user can even peel away “layers” such as skin and muscle to see the relative placement of all body systems, or to study specific organs or systems relative to other anatomy.
